Meet the Applewood Motorcar Transport Staff

  • Bruce & Judi Hall - Owners, Applewood Motorcar
  • Bruce's love for cars began at a very young age by racing Quarter Midgets in the mid-50's. He and his family were involved in sports cars, drag racing, snowmobile racing, go-cart racing, etc. After graduating from WV Institute of Technology with Degrees in both Business and Mechanical Engineering, it only took a few years to determine self-employment was his path. His entrepreneur spirit began with his first business venture in April, 1977.
  • Nearly 20 years ago, Bruce's love for cars was rekindled when he established a very small enclosed transportation business. A short time later, he established a collector car restoration business which produced numerous national show winners.
  • After moving back to WV, over 10 years ago, the focus on the transporting portion of the business began to grow, leading to the business that now thrives as Applewood Motorcar Transport. He still continues to provide appraisals as well as expert testimony in some legal cases.
  • In September, 2007 Judi left her job as Director of Marketing for a National fast food franchisee where she had worked for 17 years. In her search for employment, it occurred to her that she could probably be as much value to Bruce and his growing business as she would be to anyone else out there in the "corporate world". As it turned out, she has been a valuable contribution to Applewood and the "fit" is perfect.
  • Judi is also a former High School Teacher of 11 years. She is a graduate of Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV with a Degree in Business Education. She worked on her Master's Degree at WVU while raising a family.
  • Stephannie Weaverling
  • Stephannie is our Office Manager. She has been with us for one year. She is responsible for Customer Communications, Maintenance Scheduling and Records, and Assists with Logistics and DOT Compliance. Stephannie's family consist of her husband, Tristan and her two children Hunter, Age 9 and Summer Age 6. She enjoys spending her spare time watching her Son play football and her Daughter cheerlead.
  • Brent Hetzel
  • Brent is the "captain" of our Kenworth Tractor Trailer. He previously drove for a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Team and has years of experience behind the wheel of large trucks. He 16 years old twin sons and his girlfriend Rhonda reside in Harpers Ferry, WV. Brent is a former police officer.
  • Paul Trickey & Chicadoo
  • Say "hello" to Paul Trickey and his side kick "Chicadoo" the killer dog. Paul never leaves the lot without Chicadoo at his side, she has traveled more than two million miles with him and Paul has 30 years experience as a CDL Driver. When he is not behind the wheel, he is spending time with his grandson or riding his Harley.
  • Jeff Brinkley
  • Jeff comes to us from his owner/operator business of enclosed auto transport. He hails from Pilot Mountain, NC and resides with his wife, Paula. Jeff has 25 years of trucking experience under his belt. He and his wife have just become the proud grandparents of their first granddaughter, Addilyn. They are also the parents of two daughters, Maggie and Mary Kate.
